Following the economic hardship experienced in the country, the executive chairman of Apapa local government, Lagos state, Hon. Idowu Adejumoke Senbanjo, has pleaded with Nigerians for patient assuring that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will fix the economic challenges.
Senbanjo who spoke at the close of a-3-day workshop organized by the council for all political office holders and management staff of Apapa Local Government held at Ikeja, Lagos with the theme “Repositioning the Local Government for Good Governance and Quality Service Delivery” assured that Tinubu will bring back the economic glory of the country on track.
The Port City Council boss while giving her parting shot to conclude the workshop that commenced since the 6th of March took the participants on a memory lane of the antecedents of President Tinubu, his doggedness and his ability to fix the country, stating that the fixes has started as seen in the various reshuffling and collapse of some parastatals.
Senbanjo spurred the participants to go and transform the knowledge gained at the workshop into quality service delivery to reposition the LG and bring the needed change while she counselled them to be worthy ambassadors of Apapa Local Government and the country at large.
The workshop which was organized in conjunction with Fafife Consulting Limited ran from 6th to 8th of March with each segments anchored by seasoned academic doctors and professors who spoke on interesting, thought provoking and change propelling topics, contrasting with brain tasking games and refreshment to wind down each day.
Participants expressed delight and satisfaction in the content of the workshop through the Admin & HR officer Mrs. Adedoyin Esther who gave the vote of thanks.
