In her usual way of putting smiles on people’ face, bringing hope alive and creating room for recreation, socialization while fostering community bonding, Apapa Local Government boss Hon Idowu Adejumoke Senbanjo, Tuesday organized Children Christmas party at the Apapa Amusement Park amid fun fairs, joy and excitement that got the children ecstatic with varieties of games, gifts and display of talents and skills.
The Executive Chairman while giving her address expressed that the party was packaged with love to bring togetherness and fun for the children, noting that Christmas is a time filled with joy, love and laughter.
“Today marks a very special occasion as we come together to celebrate the spirit of Christmas, a time filled with joy, love, and laughter. It is a time when our hearts are full of hope and our spirits soar with excitement, what better way to celebrate than by bringing our community’s dearest treasures – our children – together for a day filled with fun and merriment.”
Senbanjo expressed how special children are to the community and the joy they bring.
“I want you to know just how special you are to us all. You are the future of our community, the hope that keeps our spirits high, and the light that guides us towards a better tomorrow. Your presence here today fills our hearts with immense joy, and we hope that this event will create everlasting memories for each and every one of you” she said.
The event which was held with great enthusiasm and festive cheer, will for sure leave a lasting impression on both young and old attendees as the venue was transformed into a winter wonderland, adorned with vibrant decorations and twinkling lights that captivated the imagination of the children. As laughter echoed through the air, the joyous atmosphere was further enhanced by the presence of Santa Claus who doled out gifts to the excited youngsters.

One of the pupils who took part in the fanfare, Elizabeth Ayokunle eulogised the council boss for hosting them.
