… says “APC Mantra is Operation Win Your Polling Unit”

A former chairman of Coker Aguda local council development area and the Director of Women Affairs of the All Progressives Congress Independet Campaign Council, Mrs Omobolanle Akinyemi-Obe, has canvassed women and all eligible voters to cast their votes for the ruling party’s candidates.
The ICC is meant to mobilise voters for the party’s Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Lagos state Governor, Mr. Babjide Sanwo-Olu and all APC candidates in the coming general elections.
Akinyemi-Obe at a town hall stakeholders meeting in Oshodi-Isolo local government for the Lagos West Senatorial District candidate, Dr Idiat Oluranti Adebule, said the women are all out to ensure the mantra of ‘operation win your polling unit’ giving to them by the party is realised through concerted effort.
The women Directorate Director disclosed that dorectorate will massively mobilise women for the Presidential and governorship candidate of the pary, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Babajide Sanwo-Olu as well as the Lagos west Senatorial District candidate Dr Adebule and all APC candidates to ensure ensure victory at the polls.
She said; “We have a mantra in APC and that is operation win your polling unit, how do we do this, it is that you have to know the people that are voting in your area, try to identify the electorates, go round to mobilise those that are of age to vote the APC. We are out here today again as we have started long ago to mobilise the women and all eligible voters to vote Asiwaju, Sanwo-Olu, Adebule and all.our candidates at the polls. We will not stop at nothing until victory is achieved.
Akinyemi-Obe speaking on the candidature of Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu and Adebule, and other candidates of the APC said their track records are excellent and these stood them out as the most sellable candidates the party presented for the polls.
She said; “Tinubu has the record, he is the number one person who has done a lot of things for everyone a across board, he encouraged women to be empowered, he has encouraged women to advance and he has encouraged women to be sure of themselves and aspire for higher positions in the political space. His track records are excellence and that is why we are canvassing for his presidency.
Sanwo-Olu has also done so many things as Governor of Lagos state, so much infrastructural development that touch the lives of the people, he is giving free UTME and WAEC forms to indigent students in the state. He has touched the lives of many people in the state.
Adebule is very loved and very acceptable by the people, we will vote for her, she has the quality and charisma to represent the people at the senate. She has good track records even as Secretary and Deputy governor of Lagos state.”
Speaking on the cash crunch across the country, Akinyemi-Obe said the people are more determined than ever before to vote the APC as she said the scarcity of naira and the fuel shortage are result of saboteurs.
“Naira or no naira, we will surmount it, APC is not a naira party we are not voting because of money, we have the peoples support, we have love for Tinubu, our party and all our candidates, we are voting as women, we are not waiting for naira. We are going to vote even in the face of these naira and fuel scarcity, there is o going back, the saboteurs will be put to shame,” she said.
Also speaking to the press on the sideline of the stakeholders meeting, deputy women director of the ICC, Mrs Dipo Babalola said the women are sensitising other women to vote the APC. The Deputy Director said when Tinubu wins, the country’s economic woes will be tackled as she said a prosperous nation lies ahead if Tinubu wins.
