A former Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse-Ariyoh has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of Nigeria’s 62nd Independence Day anniversary.
Muse-Ariyoh in a congratulatory message he signed said the celebrating Nigeria is a pleasure and urged all to uphold the tenets of Nigeria’s founding fathers.
He said; “it’s a great pleasure to rejoice with everyone on the milestone existence of our great nation as a sovereign one.
We joined the league of sovereign nations after many battles fought by the founding Fathers of our dear country with the sole aim of making the Nation great.
We have come a very long way in the pursuit of living together as an indivisible Country despite the diversity but keep forging ahead with unity of purpose.
This is not the time to give up on ourselves as a nation but to keep working in making the nation a better one.”
The former council chairman urged politicians to make campaigns issue based and live in peace and harmony.
“As we approach the electioneering period, I call on everyone to know that we are better together and make the campaign issues-based without jettisoning civility, harmony, tolerance, and the ultimate purpose that we are Nigerians and must be committed to her development.”
“Long may the Country reign in love, peace, unity, and development in tandem with the dreams of our founding fathers,” he said.
