The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it will ask the inspector-general of police, Baba Ahmed, to investigate and prosecute the Adamawa resident electoral commissioner (REC), Hudu Yunusa Ari
The decision was reached on Tuesday at the technical meeting of INEC in Abuja which was attended by national commissioners of INEC.
The electoral umpire has also decided to write Boss Mustapha, the secretary to the government of the federation, to brief President Muhammadu Buhari about the “unwholesome behaviour” of the REC.
