The Sultana of Sokoto and President General of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), His Eminence Sa’ad Abubakar has announced the sighting of the new month of Shawwal in some parts of Nigeria on Saturday night.
The sultan said with the sighting of the new moon, Eid fitri is Sunday, March 30, 2025.
The sultan made this announcement in a live broadcast on the National Television Authority (NTA) on Saturday.
