As the world celebrates this year’s children’s day, the Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has sent out heartwarming felicitation to children wishing them a blissful celebration.
The council helmsman called on governments at all levels to protect them, while describing them as the hope of tomorrow.
Otunba Oloyede in a press release issued on Tuesday by his media office, stated that the protection of children from abuse and all forms of danger should be the responsibility of government at all levels, stressing that he has, since assumption of office, continues to prioritise their education and through provision of educational materials and creating enabling environment for learning through reconstruction of St Paul primary and renovation of others.
In his words; “let me join the world in celebrating our hope of tomorrow, our children on the occasion of the 2025 children’s Day, which is a day set aside to celebrate these promising ambassadors, as we celebrate these children, let’s remember that their vulnerability need protection. As future leaders, who will take the mantle of leadership, I wish to appeal to governments at all levels to prioritize their well being by investing in their education and protect them from danger at all times”.

The Chairman also used the opportunity to call on parents, guardians, educators, and all stakeholders to remain steadfast in nurturing the young ones with love, discipline, and inculcation of the right values.
