In the spirit of the season, the Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Lagos State Chapter Engr. Adigun Ibrahim Olalekan, has sent warm compliments to youths in the state as they celebrate this Christmas.
Adigun in a message by his Special Assistant on media and publicity, Damilola Kushimo described the Yuletide festivity as a season of love, compassion, and selflessness, urging all Lagos youths to embrace the true essence of the birth of Christ by showing kindness to others.
He emphasized the importance of sharing joy with the less privileged and spreading goodwill to foster unity among all and sundry.
The youth leader encouraged individuals to reflect on the values of empathy and togetherness, which, he said, are essential for peaceful and progressive co-habitation.
Asserting that Christmas is not only a time for family and celebration but also a reminder of our shared humanity, Adigun called on the youths to be ambassadors of peace and positive change in their various communities.
The foremost youth chairman in the state by urged everyone to commemorate the Yuletide season within the ambit of modesty as he wished everyone a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year, full of hope and progress.
