Fourteenth Moon Foundation distributes Ramadan relief package to 200 families

A non governmental organisation, the Fourteenth Moon Foundation (FMF), has distributed Ramadan Relief packages to over 200 families in Lagos.

Beneficiaries of the Ramadan relief package comprised of twenty (20) widows and five single mothers among other indigent muslims across the state.

The distribution was held at three centres: Abule-Okuta Temidire Central Mosque, Bariga; Mosadi Oluwa Mosque Oworonshoki; Ike-Oluwa Mosque, Oworonshoki in Lagos.

Speaking on the Ramadan package intervention, Ustadh Qasim Badrudeen Olarinre the CEO/ founder of the foundation noted that the initiative has a determination to reach more families in subsequent Ramadan, asking Muslims to support the programme.

He said, “ We are using this medium to appreciate donors for their kind gestures and pray Allah reward them abundantly.

“We are now looking forward to their support for our Eid relief package where we distribute live chickens and other food stuffs to indigent muslims two days or a day to Eidul -Fitri.”

One of the beneficiaries appreciated the foundation for the relief package saying the items given will support her in the remaining days of the month of Ramadan praying Allah bless the donors.
