As the preparations towards the May 29 inauguration of the president elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu continues on top gear, a Muslim women organisation, Coalition of Muslim Women for Asiwaju (COMWA) has organised a prayer session for a peaceful handing over.
The group led by its National Coordinator/Chairperson, Hajia Rasheedah Adebari, storm the Lagos state secretariat centre mosque last Friday with Quran tesbih (prayer rosary) in their hands for a prayer session for the nation.
The prayer session was led by Ustadh Saheed Aro with other members of mission board of the secretariat mosque.
Adebari said; “the prayer session was organised for good governance in Nigeria and Lagos State through the president elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his would be cabinets, as Allah has chosen him as president of this great country.
“We beseech Allah grant Nigeria good security, smooth inauguration and successful tenure for Tinubu.”
