… Council Chairman says Nigeria is on the Path to Greatness under Renewed Hope Agenda
The Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof-Oloyede, has congratulated Nigerians on the nation’s 65th Independence Anniversary, saluting the resilience, courage, and determination of citizens since October 1, 1960.
In his goodwill message released through his Media Office, the Chairman extended special felicitations to the residents of Oshodi-Isolo, commending their contributions to nation-building and community development. He expressed optimism that under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nigeria is on course for greatness, with the economy gradually recovering and promising better opportunities for all.
Otunba Almaroof-Oloyede urged Nigerians to remain steadfast in their support for the Federal Government’s policies, noting that the early results of the Renewed Hope Agenda are laying the foundation for long-term progress. He emphasized the need to preserve the bravery and patriotism of Nigeria’s founding fathers, whose sacrifices secured the freedom being celebrated today.
Reflecting on Oshodi-Isolo, the Chairman highlighted the strides made by his administration in the last four years, including extensive road rehabilitation, improvement of primary healthcare facilities, renovation of schools, and empowerment programmes designed to uplift residents. He assured that these efforts will continue until every nook and cranny of the local government feels the impact of governance.
He said: “On behalf of the government and the good people of our dear local government, I join millions of Nigerians in celebrating our great nation on this auspicious 65th Independence Anniversary. As we mark this historic day, let us remain committed to the vision of a united and prosperous nation, as envisioned by our forebears.
“At the grassroots, we will continue to pursue good governance, infrastructural development, and social welfare initiatives that improve the lives of our people.”
The Chairman concluded by calling on Nigerians to embrace unity, peaceful coexistence, and collective responsibility: “As we celebrate this 65th Independence Anniversary, let us commit ourselves to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu so that together, we can translate our dreams into reality.
