The Supreme Court in Abuja has affirmed the election victory of Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the March 18 governorship election.
The apex court dismissed appeal filed by Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party challenging Sanwo-Olu’s victory in the last election.
The appellate court had earlier affirmed the the election petition confirmation of Sanwo-Olu victory.
Justices of the apex court in their decision affirmed that Sanwo-Olu was duly elected as governor.
