Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim faithful on the joyous occasion of Eid el-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan 1446 AH, saying that Ramadan is a month of devotion, sacrifice, and self-reflection.
Agoro stated this immediately after the Eid prayer, held at the Dodan Barracks praying ground, Obalende, on Sunday, 30th March, 2025.
Agoro congratulated the Muslim ummah, highlighting the values of peace, tolerance, and generosity that Eid embodies. He encouraged everyone to remember those in need and extend a helping hand, emphasizing the importance of empathy, love, unity, and compassion towards one another as taught by Islam.
In his address, Agoro also urged Public Servants in the State to rededicate themselves to their duties, serving the people of Lagos with renewed commitment and proactivity.
As the Muslim community celebrates Eid el-Fitr, Agoro prayed that Almighty Allah accepts their fasts, supplications, and good deeds, rewarding them abundantly for their dedication and sacrifice.
