Lagos Special Adviser on Environment, Rotimi-Akodu Hails Sanwo-Olu’s Victory at the tribunal

The Lagos State Special Adviser on Environment, Hon Olakunle Rotimi-Akodu has hailed the affirmation of the election victory of the state Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu by the election petition tribunal.

Recall that members of the jury who presided over the election tribunal matters brought before it by the candidates of the Labour Party, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour and Peoples Democratic Party, Olajide Adediran (aka Jandor) in Ikeja on Monday had declared and affirmed that the March 18 governorship election was convincingly won by Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat.

The members of the tribunal which delivered the judgement include Justice Arum Igyen Ashom, Justice Mikhail Abdullahi, and Justice I.P. Braimoh.

Congratulating the governor, Rotimi-Akodu said affirmation of his victory by the tribunal further testifies the general acceptability of the governor and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) by the masses.

The Special Adviser commended the jurists for their firm decision in affirming Sanwo-Olu’s victory, saying they refused to be cajoled and misled by the opposition.

He said; “I heartily congratulate our indefatigable governor for the resounding victory recorded at the election petition tribunal on Mknday, this victory is an affirmation of the acceptability of the governor and our party by the people of Lagos. I also congratulate our great party for this worthy feat.”
