A Lagos State Magistrate court sitting in the Ikorodu judicial division has ordered a private and independent pathology test on the late Ilerioluwa Aloba (Mohbad) to determine the mystery behind his mysterious death.
The judge, Coroner Magistrate T.A Shotobi ruled that the pathology must be carried out in the presence of the Aloba’s family. This she said include the father, mother and wife of the deceased.
A mini drama ensued at the court room as the late Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi urged the court to rule for quick burial of the deceased. She was supported by Mohbad’s mother who also pleaded for the deceased to be burried.
She said; “I don’t want the autopsy be taken again because they have label me killer, a prostitute over this case, I want my husband to be buried on time before he clocks a year.”
The judge said in response; “It is unfortunate now that you are just raising the issue. But for this coronal you are ready to bury the deceased only and only if you and the family agreed to bury him.
Your warrant to bury him is ready if the family agreed but if not, you can proceed to the high court.”
The court however adjourned till the 7th of August, 2024 for further hearing.
