Baring last minute, there will be no child without basic education acquisition in Nigeria as the Nigerian Senate passed a bill making it compulsory for every child in Nigeria to take the National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE), Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), and Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE).
The senate at its plenty on Wednesday passed the bills compulsoring eduatīn for all cold in the country.
The Senate also passed a bill to establish the National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies.
In addition, a bill to establish the Chartered Institute of Training and Development of Nigeria was also passed.
