NECO releases June/July SSCE result, Gives Details on how to check results

The National Examinations Council (NECO) on Tuesday announced the release of results of the 2023 Internal Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) with a record of 61.60 percent of candidates scoring five credits and above including English and Mathematics.

As the examination council released the results, it disclosed that some Schools were found one form of examination malpractices or the other.

The council said 93 Schools were found to be involved in whole-school (mass) cheating while 52 Supervisors were recommended for blacklisting due to poor supervision, aiding, and abetting during the examinations.

In a press briefing in Minna on Tuesday, NECO’s Registrar, Prof. Dantani Wushishi, said the result summary shows that 61.6 percent scored five credits, including English and Mathematics.

The number of candidates who registered for the exam was 1,205,888, and the number of candidates who sat for the exams was 1,196,985.

Giving a breakdown of the figures, Wushishi said 616,398 of the candidates were male and 580,587 females sat for the Examination.

  2. Pick your exam year. i.e., 2023
  3. Pick your exam type. i.e., SSCE INTERNAL (JUN/JUL)
  4. Enter your Token Number and registration number in the appropriate columns.
  5. Finally, click on the check result button to access your NECO result.
