… Urges peaceful coexistence, prayers for the nation
The Lagos State Special Adviser on Environment to governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Mr. Olakunle Rotimi-Akodu has congratulated Nigerians on the 63rd independence anniversary of the country.
Rotimi-Akodu in his congratulatory message to Nigerians thanked God for keeping Nigeria strong, safe, going and relevant in the comity of nations.
The Special Adviser urged sustainance of the relative peace being enjoyed in the country as he called for peaceful coexistence among all Nigerians. He emphasised the need for Nigerians to keep hope alive and prayed for continued peace and existence of the country, saying its development and growth is certain if we all pray and work assiduously together for it. Going further, he encouraged citizens to shun corruption and continue to play their good part while assuring of the commitment of the current government to ensure the security of lives and property of the people at all levels as enshrined in the construction.
He said; “I congratulate Nigerians on this special occasion of our dear country’s 63rd independence anniversary, we glorify God’s name for keeping the country and its people together till now, this we pray continues.”
This day requires from us prayer for peaceful coexistence and its sustainance, let’s shun ethno centric activities and violence that will portend danger for continued existence of the country. Let’s be our brothers keeper, let’s live in peace and unity.
