Mother of Nigerian Fuji legend, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly called K1 de Ultimate, Halimotu Anifowoshe, is dead.
She was 105.
This unfortunate incident comes barely four days after his former wife, Hafsat, died at 65 years old.
It was gathered that the mother of the music maestro was pronounced dead on Saturday by medical experts in her hometown, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State where she resides, a family source said.
He added that the deceased singer’s mother would be laid to rest in principle with Islamic rites later in the day in her hometown.
According to him, the Fuji musician has become sober considering the bond between him and the mother who he often praises during performance on stage.
