Honorable Olufemi Oluwagbenga Ibine, popularly known as Bambam, has established himself as a dynamic force in public service and grassroots leadership. With a career marked by dedication, innovation, and unwavering commitment to his community, Olufemi continues to be a beacon of hope and a driving force for positive change in Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
Currently serving as the Supervisory Councillor for Market and Revenue, Olufemi has effectively leveraged his experience to initiate and oversee impactful projects that address the needs of his constituents. His exceptional leadership stems from a rich history of public service roles, including his tenure as the Supervisory Councillor for Women and Poverty Alleviation, and before that, as the Supervisor for Environment. His career began with his appointment as the Supervisor for Agric Rural Social and Youth Development during the administration of Barrister Jaiye Alabi, making him the most experienced among his peers and aspirants.
Educational and Professional Foundations
Olufemi’s journey began at Saint Jude’s Anglican Primary School in Ebute Meta, Lagos, and Saint Peter’s Unity Secondary School in Akure, Ondo State. He went on to earn an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Accounting from Ondo State Polytechnic (now Rufus Giwa Polytechnic) and a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting from Lagos State Polytechnic (now Lagos State University of Science and Technology, LASUSTECH).
After completing his education, Olufemi honed his professional skills during his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) assignment at Access Bank’s head office, where he worked as an Operating Officer in the Human Capital Development Department. His career journey continued at AIICO Insurance as a Marketer, after which he ventured into Freight Forwarding.
However, it was his passion for community service and grassroots development that propelled him into politics. Ejigbo youth participation and representation in politics took a new turn, Olufemi quickly proved his mettle, after becoming the Supervisor for Youth and Social Development.

Olufemi’s leadership transcends politics; it is deeply rooted in his love for community service. As an executive member of the Estate Youth Organization, he has inspired and mobilized young people to take active roles in societal development. His efforts have not gone unnoticed—he has received numerous accolades, including the Greatest of all Time Youth Mobilizer, and the prestigious Face of Ejigbo award.
