Olufemi Ibine (Bambam) Calls on People of Ejigbo LCDA to Unite on Volunteerism

… Chairmanship aspirant lauds volunteers making Ejigbo proud

Today, we join the global community in celebrating International Volunteer Day, a day to honor the selfless contributions of individuals and organizations who dedicate their time, energy, and resources to making the world a better place. This year’s theme, “Together We Can Through Volunteering,” resonates deeply with our values here in Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA).

Volunteerism is the heartbeat of a thriving community, and Ejigbo is blessed with remarkable individuals and groups whose unwavering dedication has transformed lives and uplifted our neighborhoods. On this special day, I, Olufemi Ibine, fondly known as Bambam, extend my heartfelt gratitude to all volunteers in Ejigbo LCDA who have become pillars of hope and agents of change.

Let us celebrate our heroes:
The Estate Pacesetters and Estate Youth Parliament for their commitment to fostering community dialogue and leadership.

Estate Youth Organization for empowering our young people and championing initiatives that build a brighter future.

Ade Sparco Charity Foundation for reaching the underprivileged and spreading compassion through impactful charity work.

Bambam & Associates Foundation for leading by example, advocating qualitative education, healthcare, and social welfare for all.

Your selfless acts inspire us all, proving that even small efforts can create ripples of change in our community.

But, dear people of Ejigbo, our journey is far from complete. We need you—every resident, every youth, every leader—to step forward and make volunteering a part of our collective culture. Volunteerism is not just about giving; it’s about building connections, strengthening bonds, and creating a legacy of kindness and unity.

Here’s how you can contribute:
– Volunteer your time to mentor a child, care for the elderly, or support community clean-ups.

– Join local organizations and become an advocate of education, health, and social welfare.

– Support initiatives by the groups we celebrate today or start one of your own.

Imagine an Ejigbo where every hand is extended in service, every heart beats for our shared goals, and every action contributes to progress. Together, we can achieve this vision.

On this International Volunteer Day, I call on every resident of Ejigbo LCDA to rise to the challenge. Let us unite in volunteerism, knowing that through our efforts, we create a brighter, more inclusive future for all.

Thank you, volunteers, for your extraordinary contributions. You are the lifeblood of our community, and Ejigbo is stronger because of you.

In service and solidarity,
Hon Olufemi Ibine (Bambam)
