The Oshodi-Isolo local government community development committee (CDC) took part in the year 2024 community day celebration.

Community day celebration is celebrated every 21 of November to bring together members of the community to reflect, rejoice and rejuvenate the spirit of community service.

The day is also set aside to appreciate communities that have done very well in promoting unity, peace and orderliness in the various communities.
It is also a day to bond together as community workers.

This year’s celebration was held at Police College, Ikeja on Thursday with members from across different communities in Lagos State.

Leading members of Oshodi-Isolo local government CDC to the occasion was the CDC Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Ajibulu along with the first vice chairman, Mr Ade Macarthy and other members of the executive.
Decked in Ankara attire, members of the communities radiated joy and glowingly welcomed one another to the Police College, Ikeja venue of the event.
The chairman, Alhaji Ajibulu appreciated members for turning out in their numbers as he pray for more years to celebrate in sound health and prosperity.
He urged them to remain steadfast in their service to the community, saying only with committed mind and sacrifice spirit that the desired growth and development will get to their various communities.

Lagos State governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu was represented on the occasion by the secretary to the state government, Mrs Salu Hundeyin.
Sanwo-Olu who sent apologies for his unavoidable absence assured the community members of continuous government support at all levels.
