The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has feted residents of the council with Eid-el-Adha rice.
The council chairman who was represented by his chief of staff, Hon Leke Banjoko distributed the rice gifts across the seven wards of the council said the practice is his usual way of putting smiles in the faces of the residents at festive periods and other days of the year.
Residents convivially received the bags of rice with prayers for the executive chairman.
One of the residents at the Shogunle ward of the council, Mrs Esther Ayokunle glowingly appreciated the council chairman for his kind gesture.
She said; “I am happy for this, I wasn’t expecting something like this, may God bless the chairman for his kindness towards us.”
The council chairman reassured residents of his administration’s determination and willingness to infrastructural development of the local government.
