Photos as Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation gifts grants, startup kits, tools to over 2,897 indigent Nigerians

The ZSF, a charitable organisation, presented cash grants, start up kits and empowerment tools close to 3,000 indigent Nigerians at the 20th edition of its annual Zakat distribution.

The beneficiaries were drawn across 27 states of the federation.

According to the chief executive officer of the ZSF, Prince Sulyman Olagunju, beneficiaries from other states have been presented with their equipments and cash earlier, Lagos been the final stage of the distribution of grants and tools costing over N385,303,007.17 to N2,897 beneficiaries across the country with Lagos having 1,923 beneficiaries.

The tools which range from deep freezer, tailoring industrial machines, grinding pepper machines, sewing machines, gas cylinders, among others were presented by the former chairman of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Alhaji Sikirullah Hassan in company of other officials of the ZSF.

Alhaji Hassan was the chairman on the occasion.

Beneficiaries expressed appreciations to the ZSF for their kind gestures.
