It was an exciting moment on Saturday, 28 January, 2023 as the United Muslim Association of Nigeria (UMA), Oshodi-Isolo local government gathered to chart a forward in the forthcoming general elections.
The Muslim group at its election sensitisation programme enjoined Muslims to take active part in politics. The Muslim community was urged to get their PVC to enable them cast their votes in the coming elections.
It had in attendance the executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede represented by the Secretary to the local government, Mr Smart Akinleye; the Divisional Police Officer of Makinde Police Station, SP Adekunle Ajisebutu; Chairman of League of Chief Imams in Oshodi-Isolo local government, Alhaji Musodiq AbdulQadri; Dr Sirajudeen Owosho was the chairman of the occasion while Prof Tajudeen Yusuf delivered the lecture.
