It was a memorable day as members of the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria, Oshodi area council of Lagos state area unit gathered to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the association in Oshodi.
The occasion was a trippertite as it witness end of a three year tenure of the outgone Amir and his executives as well as ushering new executive members and the 30th anniversary of the society cum award ceremony.
At the end of the conference new leadership emerged and returned Yusuf Okewale as Amir of the MSSN Oshodi area council for another three years tenure along with other executives.
Others are Rasaq Balogun as Secretary, Saahdah Adejonwo-Balogun as Amira and Balikis Fasasi as Secretary sisters circle.
Past leaders of the area council were presented with awards of appreciation and recognition.
As part of the 30th anniversary, academic excellence awards were also presented to students who excelled in their various fields of study.
