Photos: Oshodi Noble Heritage Empowers 195 Widows

Concerned by the plights of widows which usually accompanied the death of their husbands, a community based organisation, Oshodi Noble Heritage has empowered no fewer than 195 of them with business grants in seven years.

The group’s coordinator, Mr Abdulfatah Ogunnaike said the group embarked on the widows empowerment programme to ameliorate their sufferings after their husbands death.

He said the organisation will not rest on its oars in ameliorating the plights of the widows through continuous grants for their various businesses.
