Following pockets of complains and dissatisfactions expressed by some chairmanship aspirants of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress APC in its just concluded primary election, the leadership of the party inaugurated an appeal panel to listen to the complaints of the aspirants who participated in the election.
The party primary election was held on Saturday at its headquarters in Acme Ikeja to elect its flag bearers in the July 12 local government elections.
According to a statement released and e-signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Mogaji Seye Oladejo, the Election Appeal Committee is to be Chaired by Mr. Lawal Pedro SAN, who is also the Attorney-General and Honourable Commissioner for Justice in Lagos State while Otunba Abiodun Olufowobi will serve as the Secretary.
Other members are Rt. Hon. Jokotola Pelumi, a former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Lanre Ogunyemi, a former honourable member of the house of assembly and the State Secretary of the party and Chief Chukwudi Adiukwu.
The statement urged aggrieved chairmanship aspirants to submit their appeals to the Committee not later than 12 noon on Tuesday 13th May, 2025.
