Ramadan 1445: Oshodi-Isolo LG Chairman Congratulates Muslims

Oloyede while felicitating the Muslims across the country especially residents of the local government urges emulation of the virtues of the holiest month.

The council chairman said piety which is the hallmark of the fasting should be imbibed by all and live an exemplary life.

Otunba Oloyede in his congratulatory message prayed that Allah accept all the ibadahs that would be carried out in the blessed month as an act of worship.

The council boss urged the Muslim community to cease the blessed month to pray for the growth and development of the country. Urging them to devote part of their time to pray to Allah for peace and tranquility in the country.

Otunba Oloyede said piety as elucidated in Suratul Baqarah verse 183 (Quran 2: 183) should be exemplified by all to ensure a saner and peaceful society.

While congratulating the Muslim community, the council honcho assures them of his administration continued support for the religion circle.

He also assured that more dividends of democracy would be delivered for the benefit of the residents.

He said; “I, on behalf of the executive and management staff of the local government congratulate the Muslim community on the commencement of the Ramadan fasting.

“As we begin the fasting in the holiest month, let’s devote more time to pray for our dear council, state and the country as a whole, this is one of the best periods to seek Allah’s divine intervention for the country.”

“Let’s also remember the essence of the fasting which is taqwallah (piety) let’s imbibe this at all time.”

“As a government, we will continue to deliver on our promises to the electorate as more dividends of democracy will continue to touch all nooks and crannies of our dear local government.”
