Tragedy struck on Tuesday in the Lagos State government house as the Deputy Chief of Staff to the State Governor, Gboyega Soyanwo, was reported dead after a brief illness.
He was 55.
Soyanwo was reported to have slumped and died a few hours after.
He was pronounced dead by medical experts on Thursday at a hospital where he was rushed to after he slumped.
It was learnt that the deceased, who had been with governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, since his first term in 2019, had over the weekend suffered partial stroke.
