The police has on Tuesday released Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti after meeting bail conditions.
Kuti has been detained by the police for allegedly assaulting a police officer some days back on Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos.
The Afrobeat singer counsel, Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika, confirmed he was released around 7.30 pm.
The lawyer also disclosed that Seun will be at the magistrate’s court in Yaba on Wednesday for the proceedings which was adjourned today due to the absence of the chief magistrate.
According to the counsel the Wednesday proceeding is to receive the director of public prosecution (DPP)’s advice on the matter.
