The Rivers State High Court has given a Temporary Order to stop the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly loyal to Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, Hon. Martin Amaewhule, and 24 others from parading themselves as Assembly Members.
The Court presided over by His Lordship, Hon. Justice Charles N. Wali, added that their legislative seats have been declared vacant pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice.
The case has been postponed until May 29th.
