The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almroof Oloyede has commended the Lagos state governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu on the subsidised Sundays food stuff market.
The Sunday market began today across all the 20 local government areas and 37 local council development areas of the state.
The Oshodi market situated at Owoseni Primary school witness large crowd as residents trooped out enmasse for the subsidised food items. They conducted themsleves orderly.
The security agencies who man everywhere ensured a hitch free sales.
Oloyede thanking the governor for the initiative said, it will help reduce the harsh economic situation on the citizens.
He said; “I want to use this medium to thank Mr governor for this initiative, the 25% subsided rate on all food stuff is a huge one, this initiative is commendable as a lot of people are here benefiting from the subsidised food items. And the residents of Oshodi are thanking Mr Governor for this initiative.”

Residents of the local government who conducted themselves orderly throughout the sales period, thanked the governor for the initiative saying it will go a long way in ameliorate the economic hardship on them.
A resident, Mr Olaniyi Okunola said; “we thank Mr Governor for this initiative it is highly commendable, this subsidised food items will definitely go a long way to reduce the high cost of food items in tuenmarket. The 25% reduction is a great deal for us and we appreciate Mr Governor for this.”
