Tinubu’s presidency best for Nigeria, says cleric

The National Amir of Ikhwan ul-Muslimin Foundation, Shaykh Abdul Hakeem Muhammad Awwal has congratulated the president-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, over his victory in the Presidential Election.

Shaykh Muhammad Awwal said Tinubu’s presidency would usher in progress and development in the country.

According to him, the former Lagos State Governor will bring to bear his wealth of experience in assembling an all-inclusive team of experts in the administration of the country.

The revered cleric expressed optimism that Tinubu’s experiences in public service will propel him towards enhancing greater unity and peace in the country.

He urged the president-elect to continue to be fair, transparent, disciplined, prayerful and righteous in the discharge of his duties to Allah.

He reminded him that the position is a test from Allah, urging to get closer to Allah and appoint God-fearing people to work with him.
The cleric enjoined the opposition parties not to heat up the polity instead exhibit their grievances in a lawful manner.

Shaykh Muhammad Awwal called on Lagosians to re-elect Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

This, he said, would complement the electoral victory of Asiwaju Tinubu.

According to him, Lagos state cannot afford to be in the hands of the opposition when the person that designs her path to progress is now elected as the president of the country.

Governor Sanwo-Olu, he said, has done well to earn a second term in the office.

He appealed to youths to avoid being used to derail the progress of the state.

“The youth should rather join hands with the Sanwo-Olu’s administration government to build the state instead of being cajole to unsettle the state,” he said.
