The senator representing Lagos West Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Idiat Oluranti Adebule has empowered 1000 youths with presentation of tools and start up cash grants in Lagos.
The Blue Roof of the Lagos Television, venue of the empowerment programme ceremony was filled with tools and beneficiaries as they gathered to receive their working tools and cash after they had been training on different skills.
The senator had held a month training for the 1000 youths on skills like barbing, catering and confectionery, leather works and tailoring.
The elated beneficiaries went home with their tools and cash price of N50,000 as a startup grants.
